Shorty Awards 2008 should go to Victor Pelevin

It’s vexing that Victor Pelevin is not on Twitter.com. Just imagine that the author of Babylon ( aka “Generation P”) receives the award for this phrase:
“… absorbing of senseless information reduces life – I don’t mean the quantity of years, but its subjective length ” (Victor Pelevin)
No matter how this all would have been there, Twitter’s users will receive awards in the following nominations: tech, science, startups, apps, weird, etc. Vote till Dec, 31, 2008, award presentation will take place in New York in January.
